A friend mentioned about your EGR blanking cable so I figured give it a go as it's a cheaper/simpler option than getting the ECU remapped & the EGR shut off. To be honest I wasn't expecting much joy from the cable so I was very pleasantly surprised it actually works! The EGR stays shut (scan gauge reads 0% EGR position) and no fault codes from the ECU. The engine runs smoother and is far more responsive. Well worth doing! :-)
