Dual Battery Tray Suits

This tray is mounted in the passenger side rear of the engine bay. This tray accepts a 12"( 305mm x 175mm app) battery.

Please Note some versions of the Hilux may require the mounting holes for the computer that is mounted to the bracket to be redrilled or slotted because there is variation in the distance of the mounting holes of the computer . The most popular size hole location are the ones predrilled.

Voltage Sensitive Relay (VSR)

Our AOB VSR allows automatic separation and connection of the main (starting) battery in parallel with auxiliary battery according to the voltage level of the main battery. This isolator will constantly scan the main battery voltage level for connection and charging of the auxiliary battery to the main battery for charging.

Dual Battery Kit

Our AOB Dual Battery Kit allows two batteries to be charged at the same time. When the engine is started and the start battery reaches cut in voltage level, the VSR engages, allowing two battery banks (start and house) to be charged simultaneously. When the voltage drops below cut out voltage level (eg the engine is stopped), the VSR disengages & isolates the batteries. This system eliminates the possibility of draining the start battery and protects sensitive electronic equipment powered from the house battery from harmful engine start up spikes.
