6-PORT UNIVERSAL DIFF BREATHER KIT

The differential/axle breather is very important on your four wheel drive vehicle because it vents the air pressure in drivetrain assemblies, including the differentials, transmission and transfer case. Under normal operations, these assemblies heat up and the air expands inside which increases the pressure, and when the drivetrain assembly cools down, the air inside contracts and creates a vacuum.

If your assemblies are too hot and the breather goes underwater, it is going to suck litres of water through the breather. In some cases, breathers have a one-way valve that closes when the pressure flips, and in this case that water can be sucked in through axle or pinion seals. This will contaminate the oil and severely damage drivetrain components

This kit is designed to allow your diffs, transfer case and gearbox to breathe by relocating the breather to a higher point on vehicle and stopping the affect of water being sucked into diff housings and gearboxes.

This kit is a 6 port system which includes fittings for MOST front and rear diffs transfer case and gearbox to suit Navara, Hilux, Patrol, Landcruiser, Prado and many others.

• 10 x Meters 1/4" Low Density Polyethylene hose, High Temp Rating with temperature range of -20°C to 110°C, Pressure range to 180PSI.
• 1 x Fitting Instruction Document.
• Optional 6 x barb fittings which can be added on CHECKOUT can help with the install of this AOB breather kit if your vehicle already has factory breather hoses installed. These barb fitting allows you to connect to the factory hose instead of replacing the hose and fitting on the diffs, gearbox and transfer case.
